1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using AeroLog, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
AeroLog is a web-based aircraft maintenance tracking platform that helps aircraft owners, operators, and maintenance personnel track inspections, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, squawks, and maintenance events.
3. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when registering
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account
- One account per person — do not share login credentials
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
4. Your Data — You Own It
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into AeroLog. Your aircraft records, maintenance histories, inspection data, and any other content you create remain your property. AeroLog does not claim any ownership or license over your data beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
- You may export your data at any time from the Account page
- You may delete your account and all associated data at any time
- We do not sell, license, or monetize your data
- Upon account deletion, your data is permanently and irreversibly removed
5. Subscriptions and Billing
- AeroLog offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required
- Paid subscriptions are billed per aircraft on a recurring basis
- Payments are processed by Stripe — we do not store payment card details
- Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from the Account page
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge
- After trial expiration without a subscription, data becomes read-only but is preserved
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use AeroLog for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the service
- Impersonate another person or entity
7. Aviation Safety Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: AeroLog is a record-keeping and planning aid only. It is not a substitute for professional aviation maintenance judgment, FAA-approved maintenance manuals, or qualified aviation maintenance personnel.
- AeroLog does not determine airworthiness — only a certificated mechanic or inspector can do that
- Maintenance intervals, tolerances, and compliance dates shown in AeroLog are based on data you provide and should be verified against original manufacturer documentation and regulatory requirements
- Do not rely solely on AeroLog for flight-safety decisions
- AeroLog is not responsible for errors in data you enter or import
8. Intellectual Property
AeroLog and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AeroLog and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the AeroLog software or interface without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
AeroLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We recommend maintaining your own backup records.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AeroLog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including any loss of data.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
