This Privacy Policy explains how Pays Nord Aviation, LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use AeroLog.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed (never plaintext) password.

Maintenance records: All aircraft data, inspection records, maintenance events, squawks, and related information you enter into AeroLog.

Billing information: Subscription status and plan type. Payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Usage data: Server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security and service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the AeroLog service.
To process subscription payments through Stripe.
To send transactional emails: account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts, and payment failure notices.
To respond to support requests you initiate.
To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized use.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Railway (cloud infrastructure) in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and session-based authentication. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Your Rights

Access: You can view all your data within the AeroLog application at any time.
Export: You can export your maintenance records as CSV or PDF reports from within the application.
Correction: You can update your account information at any time from the Account settings page.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing our contact form. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at our contact form.

7. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability. Our lawful basis for processing is contract performance (providing the service you subscribed to) and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention). 8. Cookies

AeroLog uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

AeroLog is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
